Voluntary Services Administrator Stockport NHS Foundation Trust
Position is part time (18.75 hours per week Job Share days/times to be agreed)
We are looking for an experienced administrator who can support the Voluntary service Manager in providing the volunteer service within the Trust.
You will need to have excellent IT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in order to provide reception, administrative and secretarial support to the department.
You will be an excellent communicator with a customer focused positive attitude. You will need to demonstrate a proven record of developing positive relationships with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.
As part of this very small team you will need to have excellent organisational skills, the ability to communicate a range of information to a wide variety of people and have a flexible 'can do' approach to work.
Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
- Provide an efficient administration system for the volunteer recruitment process. Including issue and receipt of application forms, recording details and monitoring process from 1st contact to appointment. The system currently in use is a Microsoft Excel database.
- Liaise with volunteers, dealing with enquiries and requests in helpful and friendly manner.
- Ensure Voluntary Service Manager is kept informed of relevant information.
- Deal with enquiries in person, by telephone or email from staff and members of the public.
- Liaise with Occupational Health Department and HR about the volunteer's application progress.
- Deal with daily post and distribute appropriately.
- Process and record volunteer's application for expense.
- Supervise and allocate tasks to department volunteers.
- Assist with social events, training sessions and meetings as required.
- Provide assistance to and for the Voluntary Service Manager as required.
