An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Integrated Outpatient Therapy team at Stepping Hill hospital as a therapy assistant.
This 35 hour post will be based in the established outpatient therapy department, working between both the main department and the hydrotherapy pool.
Main duties of the job
The main post will be based in the established outpatient therapy department, working between both the main department and the hydrotherapy pool.
The role will primarily involve checking of electrotherapy equipment, monitoring stock for ordering, cleaning of equipment, general admin duties and providing daily assistant support as part of the hydrotherapy service.

We are looking for someone who is well motivated, enthusiastic and committed to assisting with delivering high quality care.
You should have good verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills and demonstrate sound organisational skills in order to process tasks in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will be provided with relevant training and supervision and appraisal processes are in place to encourage further self-development.

If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £41.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salaryIn addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
