Job summary
We are looking for a enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join our busy team to Undertake a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard (15 months) while working as part of the Procurement team.
To provide of an efficient, cost effective, and responsive procurement service, accurately inputting requisitions while seeking improved rates and undertaking competitive exercises as agreed by the Operational Purchasing Manager.
Candidates must be willing to work individually and as part of a team. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop personally and professionally.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurate pricing and input of requisitions for goods, services and maintenance.
- Assist with sourcing suppliers with advice from the Operational Purchasing Manager.
- Assist in obtaining quotations for goods / services as directed by the Operational Purchasing Manager.
- Assist in meeting the Procurement Departments savings target.
- Demonstrate good communication and Customer Service Skills.
