The Performance & Improvement Team are looking for passionate and pro-active individuals to support our existing teams with Referral to Treatment pathway validation.
These key roles will support the operational teams in tracking and expediting patients through their care pathway with minimal delays.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the role are to undertake on going validation and audit processes to help ensure that administrative and clinical data related to RTT (Referral to Treatment) / 18 weeks pathways is "fit for purpose", i.e. measurement of the length of patients' pathways from referral to first treatment. This is a prerequisite for the sustainable delivery of the 18 weeks referral to treatment targets in the Trust.
The post-holder is responsible for investigating errors and correcting records, and for investigating patients' PAS data where they appear to have had lengthy pathway waits.
The role will necessitate working closely with a wide range of staff to ensure that RTT patient data is being recorded on PAS / Patient Centre accurately with the aim of improving data quality and supporting the operational teams in tracking and expediting patients through their care pathway.
