Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join their well-established Band 5 rotational scheme. The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their career in an innovative multi-professional therapy service gaining experience in the specialist areas of: Surgery, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Neuro-Rehabilitation, Specialist and Complex Medicine, Community Rehabilitation and Stroke.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and prioritisation skills and be able to demonstrate an adaptable approach to support a 7 day service.
Regular formalised supervision is provided by experienced therapists who will support and encourage the development of clinical skills.There is regular in-service training, preceptorship and Band 5 support.
