This exciting new role will play a key role in developing a collaborative relationship between Estates and Facilities and both our clinical and corporate colleagues The successful applicant will have a compassionate and inclusive leadership style advocating for high quality standards of care for our patients, providing visible leadership and support to our staff.
Estates and Facilities play an integral role in the day to day running of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, whether it be providing patient meals to planning the long term development aspirations of the site. You will play a significant role in all elements, making decisions through advice and support, quality data, and improved systems.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the E&F senior team you will help support the departments governance aspirations and policy development, this may be through offering clinical advice or leading on formal incident reviews or investigations. In addition, you will help advise the SMT on any clinical considerations on a day to day basis to ensure we are providing the best care with the patient at the centre of everything we do.
You will provide assurance around compliance with regulatory and internal standards of care which includes , the quality aspects of the four CQC domains which include Responsive, Well Led, Caring and Safe.

You will take lead responsibility for patient experience which will include dealing with complaints across the Business Group and participation in Quarterly Environmental Audits, PLACE, CQC and other statutory inspections as required, and will be the interface with infection control and any actions required to address infection control issues in relation to Estates & Facilities.
Day to day, the role will be varied and face paced with a requirement to be involved in a diverse range of subjects.
The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately.
If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £43.50. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary
In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
