Main duties of the job
We are seeking a talented and ambitious senior finance leader
to join our team as Deputy Finance Director (Financial Management and
Services). You will be joining an experienced, innovative and successful
finance team, one that has proven track record of delivering high quality
services and decision making support. We have a proud history of supporting
financial leaders in their journey to Director level posts.
In the role you will act as the lead officer to co-ordinate
the production of the Trusts annual and charitable accounts and associated
returns. You will lead the financial management and service department and be a
key part of the senior leadership team that ensures the department supports the
Trust in the delivery of its key strategic and business objectives.
You will ideally have a good understanding of working in an
acute NHS Trust to understand the structure, strategy and objectives, and will
have experience of developing robust I&E forecasts and delivery of
financial balance and financial recovery plans.
You will be a confident individual able to communicate with
clinical and non-clinical colleagues across the Trust to build strong working
relationships.
This role will suit someone looking to increase their Board
