We are seeking individuals with enthusiasm, commitment, and drive to work closely with colleagues throughout the organisation and within the community to help lead the organisation.
This is a fixed term appointment to cover for vacant post and is based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. The post is full time and the post holder will be expected to participate on the 1:8 on call rota.
This is an excellent opportunity within the Anaesthetics department at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The on-call rota will be a 1 in 8 full shift rota. Although not a training post, opportunities will be available for the appointee to develop their skills in all areas of Anaesthetics. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to take an active part in all teaching and training undertaken by the department and undertake further professional development. We have a dedicated educational adviser/mentor to support this
Main duties of the job
The post is suitable for those with strong ambitions for their career progression & a broad clinical interest in General anaesthesia, Intensive care and Obstetric anaesthetic service provision. The post holder will be expected to be flexible in their approach to working patterns. A strong commitment to the training and education of trainees and other staff members is also expected

- Hold full registration and a current licence to practice with the GMC
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a UK anaesthetic post including having achieved the anaesthetic initial assessment of competence (IAC).
Qualifications
