Job summary
We are recruiting for a Specialist CT Radiographer who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Centre is a specialist imaging unit (MRI, CT, PET/CT) with a large research commitment which requires highly specialised imaging knowledge. We are closely linked with the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and a large proportion of the workload is oncology related. The post includes the ability to communicate highly complex information and provide reassurance to patients as well as regular participation in research and clinical trial activities.
This post requires high levels of flexibility and professional autonomy and includes an adaptable rotation through all three imaging modalities in the Centre.
If selected to interview, you will be asked to prepare a short presentation (10 mins) entitled: Discuss the Advantages of Dual Energy CT

Main duties of the job
The Specialist CT Radiographer position includes opportunities to learn and refine a range of CT imaging skills and participate in research.
Line management opportunities and training will be provided. Full or part time applications are welcome.
The Paul Strickland Scanner Centre is a specialist oncology imaging centre made up of 4 scanners: Siemens Force Dual Source Dual Energy CT scanner, 2 x Siemens Sola MRI Scanners, Siemens Aera MRI Scanner, Siemens Force Dual Source Dual Energy CT scanner, Siemens VisionPET/CT scanner.
You will be responsible for maintaining high quality and safety standards in CT.
The successful candidate will take part in a 7-day working shift pattern and full or part time applications are welcome.
