Job summary

We are recruiting for a Clinical/EBME (Electro-Biomedical Engineering) Engineerwho shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The primary purpose of a Clinical/EBME (Electro-Biomedical Engineering) Engineer is to ensure the optimal functionality, safety, and compliance of a wide range of medical equipment and systems with low, medium, and high levels of risk. The roles and responsibilities of a Senior Clinical Engineer include medical equipment management, commissioning and decommissioning, corrective and preventive maintenance, calibration and testing, end-user support and training, safety and risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards.

We are seeking an innovative, highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical/EBME Engineer to join our dynamic team in the EBME workshop, which is aiming to achieve ISO 9001:2015 quality compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability in medical equipment. The post holder will have to work across all ENHT sites where required

Main duties of the job

Support in managing the lifecycle of medical equipment, including inventory management and disposal.

Monitor and maintain the equipment library to ensure availability and proper functioning.

Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to support maintenance and repairs.

Support the EBME supervisor and Senior Clinical Engineers as needed in daily operations.

Provide technical support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of medical equipment.

Train and mentor apprentices and junior engineers.

Investigate incidents related to medical equipment and implement corrective actions.

Manage and respond to field safety notices in compliance with regulatory requirements.
