Job summary
We are recruiting for an Administrator - Community Children's Nurses who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be part of a small team responsible for the effective delivery of comprehensive administration and clerical service to the Community Children's Nursing Team.
To ensure administrative cover based on the needs of the service and general administrative duties are delivered, ensuring that the resources available to the Community Children's Nursing Team are effectively and efficiently utilised and managed.
To ensure high standard of data quality are achieved by the active management and maintenance of patients records.
In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,192 and a maximum payment of £2,011 per annum pro rata.

Main duties of the job
To deal with enquiries that do not require clinical input in person, via email and via the telephone and act as the first point of contact for the Community Children's Nursing Team, liaising appropriately and safely with the appropriate staff member/s .
Ensure good communication with staff members within the Community Children's Nursing Team regarding individual patient contacts.
Ensure good communication and documentation of contacts with parents and professionals.
To book appointments / home visits for the CCN's as required.
Supporting the respiratory CCN in preparing for respiratory clinic.
To manage the clinic effectively and support the running of the respiratory clinic.
Have knowledge of the patient administration computerised system and support the team in maintaining accurate health records, data and tracking system.
Ensure all appointments are made in a timely manner.
To work within the policies and procedures of the Trust and Division.
To assist in the promotion of ensuring a friendly working environment and maintain good working relationship with clients and colleagues.
Communicate effectively with all personnel and liaise closely with staff within the Group.
Ensure confidentiality is always maintained.
