This is a key role in the finance team supporting Corporate Services at East and North Herts NHS Trust. The Management Accounts team offer a comprehensive financial management service, supporting budget holders to deliver on objectives. Main duties of the job
The Assistant Finance Manager will provide accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and planning. To meet regularly with budget holders to provide advice on all aspects of financial control.
The post holder will be required to organise personal workloads to meet all relevant financial timetables in the delivery of the financial reporting/management remit as set by the Senior Finance Manager.
The post holder is required to work a significant proportion of their time (more than 80%) using computer applications. The computer applications used include the software packages Excel, Word, Oracle, Business Intelligence, Qlikview and our Trust payroll system ESR.Communication with budget holders, other Finance staff and external customers may be by face-to-face meetings, by meetings on Microsoft Teams, by email, by telephone or by letter as appropriate.
