Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Renal Network Manager join the newly established Renal Network in the East of England.

The aim of the network is to support the implementation of the renal service specification. We are looking to recruit, individuals who are passionate, hardworking and dedicated and can focus on improving the experience and outcomes of renal patients.

As an applicant it is essential you have knowledge of renal services and previous experience of managing quality improvement projects using recognised quality improvement methodologies and approaches.

Main duties of the job

You will work as part of a dynamic team, focusing on health inequality, health equity and reducing variation to bring about improvement. Priorities will include:

Restoring referrals for treatment and reducing waits (Covid recovery)

Reducing variation across the pathways of care by harmonising the patient journey, using data to evidence need for change

Reviewing and implementation of clear, standardised pathways of care with an initial focus on:

Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) prevention and progression

Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) including dialysis and home therapies

Transplantation
