Job summary
We are recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Educator - Critical Care who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be working in partnership with the CNE team your role will include, working alongside and supervising nursing and multi-professional staff in caring for critically ill patients.
You will be responsible for in-service staff orientation, clinical supervision and development of staff, assisting in the development of high standards of care, protocols and guidelines in critical care nursing.
This will include facilitating education programmes in Critical Care for advanced critical care development.
You will possess the ability to empower, facilitate and support development on others whilst being creative and intuitive, eager to seek opportunities for the development of practice. Being inspirational and able to challenge traditional thinking.

Main duties of the job
Possessing the ability to create effective working relationships across a variety of areas.
The implementation and co-ordination of educational initiatives within the units, and in partnership with other clinical departments within the Trust and the Educational Consortia.
