We are recruiting for a Medical Workforce Adviser who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This role is based within the Medical Workforce team to ensure a proactive, high quality and efficient support with all aspects of the ongoing management of medical staff within the Trust. This will involve co-ordinating key administration processes for all aspects of medical workforce specific divisions.
Working independently, but within a supportive team environment, the role is varied and busy. You will liaise with staff at all levels and external bodies, so good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Experience of working in a healthcare environment and relevant experience within HR/admin or equivalent is required.
The Medical Workforce Team is led by the Senior Medical Workforce Lead and consists of 1 x Band 7 Medical Workforce Manager, 1 x Band 6 Deputy Medical Workforce Manager, 3 x Band 5 Senior Medical Workforce Advisers, 2 x Medical Workforce Advisers, 1 x Band 4 Revalidation and Appraisal Adviser and 1 x Band 3 Revalidation and Appraisal Administrator.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the Medical Workforce team to ensure a proactive, high quality and efficient support to the Trust's medical and dental workforce. This will involve providing a comprehensive and high quality administrative, transactional and data inputting support service for all aspects of medical workforce.
The post holder will support a specific divisional area/s as well as providing any day-to-day administrative support on the sub-specialty areas designated to that work stream as required. They will operate the day-to-day administrative requirements for areas such as job planning, junior doctor rotations and exception reporting.
