We are recruiting for a Catering Services Supervisor who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Our busy catering department is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable catering supervisor to join the catering teams at East and North Herts NHS Trust. Providing great food to nourish our patients is a priority for us, and we do all we can to ensure we deliver a quality service.
We need you to lead our team, supervising our staff and supporting them to be the best they can be, providing clarity and direction on tasks, support to help them develop as well as ensuring they understand how crucial their role is to our patients and staff.
The ideal candidate requires to have excellent communications skills, to be able to work under pressure, be adaptable and be supportive to their team member as well as having the ability and initiative to work to work on your own and as part of a team. You will need to work within hospital policies and procedures and always uphold the values of East and North Herts.

Main duties of the job
The Catering Services Supervisor is an important member of the Catering management team. This is a hands-on position responsible for the control and supervision of patient and staff food services and central ware wash activities.
You will provide assistance and support where necessary, and in the absence of the other supervisors will be required to supervise staff and public food service, vending and hospitality functions.
