We are recruiting for a Digital Director - Solutions & Delivery who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Digital Director will be responsible for defining end-to-end Clinical systems architecture on strategic and stand-alone Digital projects. This individual will work with Stakeholders across the Trust on the specification for Digital solutions and Leading an Expert Multi discipline Digital team in delivering these solutions.
The role will support the CCIO & CNIO to ensure that all Clinical systems are designed to support and enhance improvements in clinical practice and drive organisational efficiency which is focused on patient outcomes, and to enable the Trust to meet all relevant clinical patient and safety standards.
There will be a constant stream of conflicting priorities that must be managed within the team, therefore exceptional organisation and communication skills are required, ensuring that complex technical information can be explained in non-technical/business terms and vice versa.

Main duties of the job
Support the CIO in the development of a Digital strategy and delivery plan which meets local and national policy aspirations and underpins the Trust's clinical and business objectives.
Delivery of the Strategic Digital programme through Stakeholder engagement, Business Case Development and programme management.
To develop and communicate clear, strategic positioning and vision of the IT programme within the Trust, local and wider health economy.
To champion the strategic value of effective IT, ensuring that in practice the principles adopted will enhance the corporate objectives of the organisation.
To represent the Trust's & Clients operational requirements and business needs on a national and local basis, particularly regarding the planning, developing and implementing of new initiatives.
Demonstrate and maintain an awareness and understanding of current technical market trends and potential future technologies that would be of Business benefit to the trust for strategic markets.
Architect the Overall Digital Programme and take accountability for the delivery, outcomes and the realisation of the associated benefits.
Provide Oversight for the programme's governance arrangements according to appropriate requirements and quality.
Interface with senior stakeholders and deliver effective communications to all stakeholders.
Provide oversight for the key strategic risks and issues facing the programme.
