We are recruiting for a Holter Analyst - Cardiology who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our team of Cardiographers and Physiologists and ever-expanding Ambulatory service. The ideal candidate will have Holter analyst Experience and hold Relevant SCST qualification.

This post is available as a developmental role to someone who holds an appropriate diploma and sound ECG knowledge, but requires support to achieve the full role requirements. In this situation, the period of training would be paid at band 4 until the necessary competencies have been achieved.

Main duties of the job

As a Holter Analyst you will undertake the analysis of cardiac monitors recorded on patients, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Ensuring all life threatening or potentially life threatening arrhythmias are reported accordingly to the relevant team members. You will also undertake ECG's, application of ambulatory monitoring equipment as needed and prioritise own inpatient/outpatient work load according to clinical urgency.

In this role you will work along side Cardiac Physiologist and Cardiographer to support the Ambulatory supervisor to lead and provide a timely and accurate 24hr tape and extended monitor reporting service.
