Job summary
The Paul Strickland Scanner Centre offers an excellent opportunity for the right person with experience in at least one cross-sectional imaging modality.
We seek an enthusiastic individual who can participate in service provision as well as assist in service development. You will be joining a highly specialist cross-sectional imaging team.
In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £3,784 and a maximum payment of £4,822 per annum pro rata.

Main duties of the job
These well-established rotational posts will develop your individual skills and support your overall career development towards becoming a highly specialist radiographer, the purpose of which is to prepare you for a more advanced role in the future.
Our department is progressive, dynamic and invests time and resources in its team. We achieve this by providing a range of training opportunities and actively encouraging CPD, in-house training and further post-graduate study.
About us
The Scanner Centre is a registered charity (No 298867); open since 1985, it provides cross-sectional imaging for both oncology patients and the wider community, serving both the NHS and the private sector.
The Centre works closely with the adjacent Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, a major Regional Oncology Centre, and also has close links with a range of academic centres.
Mount Vernon Cancer Centre is a well-respected, non-surgical cancer centre based in Northwood in Middlesex providing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to over 5,000 patients a year. It is currently run by East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust (ENHT) and consistently receives positive patient feedback.
We are seeking to maintain and expand the Cancer Centre staff as we move to an exciting new future.
