Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will join a team lead by a Consultant Dermatologist who is supported by 2 locum consultant dermatologists on CESR scheme, 1 locum consultant Dermatologist, 1 Associate Specialist and 1 GPSWI. There are 3 Dermatology Specialist Nurses and 3 phototherapy nurses in post.

The appointee will undertake out-patients clinics and Minor Operation sessions at Hertford County hospital.
The Dermatology team including nurses meet up every third Wednesday of the month afternoon for business and educational purposes. This allows a forum for sharing knowledge and experience and where complex patients can be discussed. We also have a weekly Skin MDT and SMDT meeting and a monthly Dermatoses MDT Meeting.
Our Phototherapy Nurses regularly attend the South east England Phototherapy network and the British Dermatology Nursing Group forums.
The post holder will work alongside our Dermatology nurses, all of whom are based at Hertford County Hospital. The post holder will also support being a lead for condition management based on their skill set and knowledge on appointment to the post.

- Shall have full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council.
- Shall have completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a parttime or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty.
