This is a great opportunity to gain some hands-on communications, fundraising, online and offline marketing experience in a health, cancer and NHS context.

Our friendly appeals team looks after Communications, Fundraising & marketing for Paul Strickland Scanner Centre, a centre of excellence for cancer imaging co-located with Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Greater London.

The centre was the first diagnostic imaging unit for NHS and private patients in the UK. We're looking for someone with some prior knowledge and experience in communications, fundraising and/or marketing who is hands-on and wants to support other members of the team - whether by processing donations and correctly entering data into our database, taking phone calls, designing posters or getting involved in our online and social media marketing. In addition to having a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills, you'll also be enthusiastic about digital communications and marketing.

The role will cover for a team member who is on a career break and is set to return at the begining of January 2022.
