Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our Inpatient Therapy team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous NHS experience who is passionate about helping patients regain their independence and supporting their recovery journey.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will assist qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality care across elderly, stroke, surgical, orthopaedic and medical wards.
The role also includes maintaining equipment, supporting data collection and contributing to the smooth running of the department.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting and rewarding role with many opportunities to expand your communication and people skills whilst working alongside an integrated therapy team.
You will take part in peer learning sessions and be part of a structured in service training programme for our assistant tier alongside personal development reviews with your supervisor.

- Level 2 Functional skills in English and Maths; GCSE A* - C or 4 - 9 or willingness to work towards.
