Job summary
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to join the Clinical Support Services (CSS) Divisional Leadership Team. CSS incorporates a variety of services across Pharmacy, Therapies, Radiology and Pathology.
Our Personal Assistant will be instrumental in providing professional, proactive and flexible support to the Divisional Leadership Team, offering a range of administrative and business support services to ensure the efficient and professional running of the Division.
You will be a key member of the CSS Divisional Leadership team, with a degree of freedom to act autonomously on specific tasks and projects to contribute to the delivery of the Division's objectives.
Main duties of the job
The Personal Assistant will offer effective day-to-day management of the Divisional Leadership Team office. The post holder will apply excellent judgement, discretion, and initiative, combined with excelled organisation, prioritisation and analytical skills.
You would responsible for maintaining and managing the diaries of the Divisional Leadership Team, using initiative and own judgement to prioritise the work schedule in accordance to changing priorities.
You would provide full administrative/secretariate support for meetings; preparing agenda and transcribing formal minutes; following up of actions.
You would support the effective running of the Divisional Leadership Team office, including annual leave management, appraisals and absence management.
You would act as a first point of contact for a wide range of queries internally and externally and ensuring all are handled in a professional manner.

Essential
- Educated to GCSE Level - minimum of 5 (including Maths and English)
- Proven Computer Literacy
- RSA Typing Level 3 or equivalent
Desirable
- Demonstrates a working knowledge and understanding of working with Senior Leaders
- Awareness of wider NHS context
- Educated at A-Level or equivalent
- NCQ Level 3 or equivalent
Knowledge:
Essential
- Highly computer literate and have good working knowledge of Window Packages including Word and Excel
