Job summary
We are recruiting a Mechanical Fitter/Plumber working within a small team at Watford General hospital.
Must be able to work unsupervised and may also be required to work at Saint Albans City hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital from time to time.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours a week and partake on an out of hours emergency call out rota.
*Must be qualified with City and guilds levels 1, 2 and 3 or the equivalent NVQ qualification and have completed an apprenticeship and have NHS experience or BTEC in Mechanical services, HVAC.*

Main duties of the job
Carry out planned maintenance and fault find on mechanical plant. Must be city and guilds trained and to have completed a mechanical/plumbing apprenticeship.
Able to work on Air handling units, pumps, motors heating systems and different types of ventilation systems.
Partake in the on-call emergency cover rota. Complete PPM as per HTM compliance. An understanding of Boiler plant would be beneficial.
