Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled, innovative and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join our team of Senior Rotational Pharmacists.
The successful candidate will be required to provide clinical pharmacy services to a wide range of specialties including: Medicine, Care of the Elderly, Surgery, Acute Admissions, Paediatrics, ICU, Governance and Antimicrobials on a rotational basis.
Main duties of the job
- Providing expert pharmaceutical care to patients from admission to discharge on the wards
- Developing the role of the pharmacist in the multi-disciplinary team at ward level.
- Day to day working with the medicines management technicians
- Providing prescribing advice and support to junior medical staff.
