Job summary

This role is based at Watford General Hospital, full-time, Mon-Fri, with some flexibility over working patterns, depending on the needs of the service. Very occasionally some situations may arise involving out of hours work.

This is an exciting new role where the post-holder will be supporting the Staff Accommodation Manager in providing an efficient and effective service to staff requiring and residing in residential accommodation. The accommodation office is responsible for maximising accommodation efficiency, availability, and accessibility for our staff, principally new starters, and students, many of whom are recruited from overseas.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be driven and customer-focused, ensuring a high quality of service is provided to residents in the staff accommodation. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, show attention to detail and be able to prioritise your work. You will be assisting the Staff Accommodation Manager in providing many administrative functions relating to running the staff accommodation service, which plays a central role in recruitment of staff, especially international recruits.
