Falls prevention practitioner band 7: AHP- Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist Full time, substantive post

Main duties of the job
The Falls Prevention Practitioner works with the multi-disciplinary teams to prevent patient falls in hospital and to eliminate harm to patients from falls.
The post holder leads on Falls Prevention across the Trust, Line manages the Falls Prevention Support Nurse and works with the Therapy team.
The post holder will work with the quality improvement team to drive improvement using QI methodology.

This is a patient safety development collaborative between the wards staff and the HFC Specialist which involves the Falls Practitioner mentoring band 6 Ward Nurses.
