An exciting opportunity has arisen for conscientious, enthusiastic and highly motivated candidates to join the Endoscopy Booking Team at Hemel Hempstead and Watford Hospital.
The post holder will work closely with the Endoscopy Unit Team, Gastroenterology consultants, their immediate colleagues, and other administrative and clinical members of the Gastroenterology service.
This post is 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm and requires working across sites.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicants will be providing efficient and comprehensive waiting list co-ordinator service for Endoscopy department and will be acting as the first point of contact for patients who are referred for endoscopic investigations, into the Trust.
The waiting list co-ordinator will be undertaking the booking of a variety of endoscopic procedures and contributing to the overall efficient and effective running of all designated lists and will work closely with staff in Hemel Hospital and Watford Hospital Endoscopy Units and Gastroenterology services.
They will need to have excellent communicational, organisational and advanced IT skills and be able to work meeting deadlines and targets.
