Job summary
Working with the Director of Contract and Commerce, West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are looking for an ambitious, determined, analytical and organised senior finance professional to lead the Trust's contracts, income and costing functions.
The postholder will join a highly functional senior finance team and will work closely with the wider executives and divisional management teams to ensure that specialist and robust income, contracting and costing advice is delivered across the Trust.

Main duties of the job
As well as competently deputising for the Director of Contracts and Commerce, the successful candidate will need to;
- be a qualified accountant with experience of working in a large complex organisation
- be technically strong with an eye for detail
- have excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience of leading and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders
- be financially and politically aware, bringing relevant knowledge to the delivery of good outcomes across contracts, income and costing functions
- be a strong leader, resilient, team player with a can do attitude and developed collaboration and influencing skills.

They will also be responsible for the Trusts costing information, ensuring it is both accurate and reliable.
