Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the People & OD Business Manger acts as a strategic advisor to the CPO, helping to define, prioritize, and operationalise the People & OD Strategy. The business manager partners closely with senior leadership across the organisation to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive key people initiatives, for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHSE Trust (MTW) Kent and Medway and national programs of work. The role serves as primary support to the CPO providing strategic leadership including project and programmatic oversight and operational support. The role is responsible for integrating and strategically aligning work across all functions within People & OD.
Main duties of the job
In addition, this role will assess matters and determine the proper course of action and identify high risk and urgent matters that may require the CPO's attention which will enable the team to effectively focus on the vision, goals, and priorities of the function.
