The Temporary Staffing Team is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and skilled individual who is able to demonstrate a well organised and proactive approach with a 'can do' attitude to lead our collaborative temporary staffing team, covering all temporary staffing requirements across the Kent & Medway.

You would be leading a dedicated team who can make such a difference to patient care on a daily basis, whilst assisting with the reduction in temporary staffing costs across Kent & Medway
The role is incredibly rewarding, with a great and supportive team dynamic,where no two days are the same. With current Hybrid working in place, we work across various sites in Kent and Medway, with occasional home working opportunities.
Our service hours are currently 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however this may be subject to change to meet the service needs.
Main duties of the job
To lead in the delivery of timely and cost-effective temporary staffing bookings for all staff groups across the region, streamlining practices and negotiating rates as required to provide a professional, efficient and cost effective Collaborative Temporary Staffing Service, ensuring that all bookings comply with current booking procedures, protocols, NHS Employers requirements, NHSI requirements and best practice.
Monitoring, collation and reporting of temporary staffing data, and the development, amendment and dissemination of reports in order to meet requirements.
To develop and maintain effective professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
To effectively plan and prioritise own work and the oversee the work of the team, ensuring a proactive and cost-effective service delivery which is compliant with departmental SLA's, SOP's, policies, and NHSI requirements.
To plan and oversee local induction, support, shadowing and on-the-job training for new team members.
