Better Births offers choice for women and we at MTW are offering you an exciting opportunity to be part of a core team of midwives at Crowborough Birth Centre.
You will become part of a team of passionate midwives with a special interest in midwife-led care supporting physiological birth and promoting safety in a low risk setting. We are particularly interested in hearing from midwives with experience of providing low-risk intrapartum care in community settings. You will work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care and safety for women, pregnant people and families.
Main duties of the job
It is an exciting time for our service and we would love you to join our team of Midwives and help us to shape our services to support women's choice in place of birth. We offer a comprehensive orientation package, covering all aspects of our service. You will have support from our excellent team of Midwives throughout this period.
You will need to have completed a preceptorship programme and achieved midwifery competencies such as cannulation, water birth and suturing. We operate an on call system for both community and hospital midwifery which you will be willing to participate in.
