Job summary
To assist in the provision of an efficient, responsive, flexible and effective Estates Maintenance service to the Maidstone Hospital site as part of the Estates Department team.
Work with minimal supervision, providing maintenance, repair and replacement services as necessary to, mechanical, plumbing, service systems.Toilet Waste systems. HWS and Cold water plumbing systems.
Undertake both reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme to help prolong the life expectancy of equipment/plant. maintenance and repairs.
Main duties of the job
An understanding of the Health care technical memoranda HTM04 would advantageous.
Recording work carried out via a software package on handheld tablets.
Work with minimal supervision and to undertake both reactive and planned maintenance.

- Hands on experience in Maintenance, repair, replacement and installation of Pipe works, Showers, Water heaters, WHBs, Drainage Systems, Toilets, Urinals, TMVs, Radiators etc
Desirable
- Experience of working in an Acute Hospital/NHS environment.
- Hands on experience in Gas boilers ,steam boilers, Heat pumps, Air conditioning equipment's, chillers, fire hydrants etc.

- Maintain accurate and up to date records of repairs and maintenance in line with compliance regulations.
