We are currently looking for an Apprentice Learning Administrator to join the newly formed Learning and Career Development Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and fun team.
Full training will be provided, so it's an ideal role for someone just starting their career or wanting to take their next step!
As this is an apprenticeship and the Trust will apply for government funding you will need to meet their eligibility criteria. To be eligible you will;
- Be over 16 years old (there is no upper age limit)
- have been living in the UK/EEA for 3 years and have the right to live and study in England, or anon-EEA citizen with permission from the UK government to live in the UK, (not for educational purposes) and have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of learning.
- not be enrolled on another government funded education programme at the start of the apprenticeship
- not have a qualification in a subject related to the apprenticeship you will be studying at a higher level
Main duties of the job
What are we looking for?
- Excellent customer service skills - you will be in contact with a wide range of service users, staff and external organisations.
- Computer literate - you will be using Outlook, Excel and other in-house and cloud based systems on a regular basis. If you have a good knowledge of these, we are able to offer advanced training.
- Communication skills - you should have good written and verbal skills as you may be responding to queries via telephone, email or in person.
- Marketing - You will be assisting with our social media accounts so it would be helpful if you have knowledge of how different accounts work and can be used by the team to market our services. It would also be helpful if you have an eye for detail and could create posters/flyers for the team activities.
No two days will be the same and your role could include;
- helping to plan and arrange careers events
- supporting students on work placements
- entering learners details on databases and checking funding arrangements
- creating flyers for the next English and Maths classroom sessions
