This Change Agent role vacancy is a fantastic opportunity for those working in clinical/clerical (General Practices, Acute or Community Trusts) roles to help shape the future of Cellular Pathology users in Kent and Medway Pathology Network.

The Networks have approved the establishment of Change Agents in providing support to the Digital Pathology Transformation program development and deployment across the region.

As a Digital Pathology Transformation Change Agent you will engage with clinicians, managers, laboratory staff and Digital pathology suppliers across Kent sites, to develop the future ways of working and to support the smooth transition from current practices to the new ones.

This role will be part of a small established project team comprising project managers, subject matter experts and will have supplier support.

Main duties of the job

  • As a Change Agent for the Kent and Medway Pathology Network Digital Pathology programme, your work will be varied and will be key to enabling the Digital Pathology process across Kent.
  • You will provide high quality project support including current state analysis, future state drafting, reporting and support delivery, working with suppliers and laboratory teams to optimise process design, training and implementation across the Pathology services
  • You will streamline and manage business change processes and enable provision of effective administration support to ensure the project is delivered in the most effective and efficient way including management of the project calendar, appropriate area of FutureNHS, forward planning and communication between all involved teams.
  • To provide business change input into the design and implementation of the Digital Pathology Project systems.
  • To support the review and analyses of current business processes in order to design new pan Kent harmonised pathways and documents for Digital Pathology.
  • To support the Digital Pathology Project manager and Digital Pathology IT lead and liaise with laboratory leads and clinical staff to ensure comprehensive delivery and integration.
