Job summary

  • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator and project support to provide administrative and project support to the network team in Kent and Medway Pathology Network. As a Programme Support Officer, your work will be varied and will be key to enabling transformation in pathology services across Kent and Medway.
  • You will provide high quality project administrative support including organizing and recording meetings, engagement and educational events; reporting and analysis of information to support delivery; streamline and manage team business processes including workplans and risk registers; development of educational resources and e-learning, and enable provision of effective administration support to ensure projects are delivered in the most effective and efficient way.
  • You will coordinate and support team members in the application of new project management, collaboration and administration technology.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide administrative and project support to the network team in Kent and Medway Pathology Network.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.

The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 760,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.

The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
