Job summary
Under the general direction of the Mechanical Manager, the Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of any combination of employed maintenance staff and contracted labor.
Ensuring that plant and equipment are correctly serviced, repaired, and maintained - and thereby compliant - throughout Trust properties, in accordance with Statutory and Trust requirements.
Supervising Maintenance staff. The ability to analyze, troubleshoot, fault find, and provide technical assistance and assist Technicians if required. Supervised minor estate projects.
Main duties of the job
Management of, and leadership to, maintenance staff and contractors engaged in Estates maintenance delivery.
Provide technical engineering advice and support for the day to day maintenance of equipment, and utility services for the Trust.
Responsible for complying with all relevant legislation and such policies, procedures, guidance, and methods of working including conduct, appearance, and discipline as the Operational Estates Manager, or the Trust may decide to implement.
To provide technical assistance and local knowledge when accompanying sub-contractors working on our sites
