Job summary
The Clinical Audit and Regulatory Compliance department is seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated Clinical Audit Facilitator to work within a small and friendly team. Primarily working at Tunbridge Wells Hospital; there will be the occasional requirement to work cross-site. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
This position is well suited to an organised and confident individual who is looking to advance their career in the NHS, and be part of a thriving and supportive team that works closely with clinical specialties and healthcare professionals at all levels to drive clinical effectiveness and promote quality improvements for patients.
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with excellent written and verbal communication skills, dedication and the ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy. An understanding of the NHS is essential, plus proven experience of using Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. You will need to show past experience of working with data, and the ability to manage workload in a busy and dynamic environment. Key attributes for this post include being highly organised, reliable; have a keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Audit Facilitator duties include supporting and facilitating the clinical audit programmes for a division, providing both technical and administrative advice and support to health professionals in the development and implementation of clinical audit projects.
You will need to have excellent IT skills using Microsoft; word, excel, power point and be familiar with database and designing data collection forms. The role involves communication with staff and clinicians at all levels both internal and external to the trust. Experience of clinical audit or data management within a healthcare setting will be an advantage.

The Clinical Audit and Regulatory Compliance department is a small friendly team working cross-site which specialises in enabling and supporting Directorates to develop successful clinical audit programmes which lead to quality improvement in the care and outcomes of the Trust's patients.
The Clinical Audit department's aim is to promote and encourage engagement in clinical audits, service evaluations and QIPs whilst keeping the Trust vision of "Exceptional people, outstanding care" as a focus for our efforts.
