E.M.E. Services are responsible for the management and maintenance/repair of medical equipment with the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and other local NHS & Private Healthcare providers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Clinical Engineer to join our busy team to look after our wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment.
Main duties of the job
The ideal applicant will have post qualification experience working in the patient environment on a wide range diagnostic and therapeutic device. The successful applicant will have a good command of communication, comfortably working with internal/external customers and suppliers in this rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will be based at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital and rotate between the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals. They may also be prepared to visits other healthcare providers both the public and private sector.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.

- Experience in applying workshop technology to patient-critical equipment and techniques in healthcare.
- Extensive practical experience in electronic and medical engineering workshop practices and techniques post-qualification.
- Specialist training in the maintenance and repair of a range of medical devices and laboratory equipment.
- General knowledge of electronic workshop practice and computer systems.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering.
- Specialised knowledge of medical electronics, electro-mechanical systems, computing and medical device support
