Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist/Cashier to join our Facilities Admin Team to provide confidential, accurate reception and cashier service at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals. The post requires a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages and training will be provided for any Trust specific systems. Good numeracy skills and previous experience in carrying out simple accounting duties is essential, together with excellent communication, organisation and time management skills. The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach with an ability to prioritise their workload
Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Reception team, you will provide a first point of contact for all visitors to the hospital. You will make a positive contribution towards an atmosphere that ensures all visitors feel welcome, leaving them with a positive view of the Trust.
All team members will be expected to cover both reception and cashier duties, ensuring that these services are available at all times.

The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.
The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.
