Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Paediatric Physiotherapy team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust as a Band 7 musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapist. We are looking for an experienced therapist who is enthusiastic and dynamic with a flexible approach to work within our developing team. You will need to be adaptable to cover the service needs across sites.
The trust have invested and expanded services in recent years in Paediatrics and Paediatric orthopaedics, and our paediatric physio team is evolving to support the therapy needs in these client groups. The post holder will work closely with specialist multi-disciplinary teams across paediatrics and orthopaedics.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be required to provide therapy for a varied case load predominantly in an outpatient setting. A broad skill set across Orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients is required.
There are fantastic opportunities to develop your skills working with ESP physiotherapy leads, assisting them in specialist clinics such as Ponseti and DDH clinics, as well as for joint working with Consultant Orthopaedic surgeons, with whom we have strong links. The candidate will also have the opportunity to help develop a growing paediatric musculoskeletal service within the trust.
Our team has a strong commitment to CPD and evidence based practice. Team members are supported through supervision and regular teaching.
