Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient, thorough and timely recruitment/HR & payroll administrative support service supporting Trust recruitment, selection, ongoing employment checking processes, and payroll admin to ensure the provision of an efficient, effective and timely service provision which is compliant with DoH guidelines, NHS Employment Standards, legislation, Trust policies and procedures, and best practice.
Create professional and timely correspondence in support of the Employee Services Teams including letters relating to pre and post-employment/appointment checking requirements.
Progress accurate and timely data entry on departmental IT systems including ESR and NHS Jobs. Update and manipulate various spreadsheets and recording systems in order to accurately update/sort/collate/report data as required.

The Trust's core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
We employ over 6,500 full and part-time staff in a huge range of clinical and non-clinical roles across both of our hospital sites.
