Job summary

Phlebotomists are required to join our team working at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. You will be based at Tunbridge Wells Hospital and will also be required to work at Maidstone Hospital and GP surgeries this includes working at Sevenoaks Hospital phlebotomy Clinic.

On occasions you may work for both the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells hospitals. There is also a necessary commitment to some weekend and Bank Holiday work at the Hospitals.

Main duties of the job

Experience in phlebotomy is desirable, although training will be provided to ensure competency.

You will be part of a team working to provide high quality services to patients and medical staff within the area, and will need to have excellent manual dexterity and a caring and compassionate attitude.

Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
