Job summary
The Radiology ICT Team supports the Radiology Department, which is located across the 2 main sites of the Trust (Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital) in providing a wide diversity of imaging investigations, therefore the appointed individual would be expected to communicate with various internal users including, General Radiology, MRI, CT, Breast Care Unit and Nuclear Medicine departments, as well as PACS & RIS users in the Trust, PACS departments across Kent, Imaging Centres both within and outside of Kent, the Trusts Informatics Service and equipment and system manufacturers.
The Service currently runs 5 days per week but we anticipate this will change to 7 day working in the future and the successful applicant would be required to work between 8 am and 6pm, normally 7.5hrs shifts on a rolling work schedule. There may be times when working outside of these times is necessary for which compensatory time will be given. The post will require cross site working between Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include assisting in the day to day management of the Radiology ICT systems, image transfers both into an out of the Trust, working closely with other members of the Radiology ICT team, clerical and administrative duties and provide technical support and advice to the Radiology Department PACS service users.
