Main duties of the job

You will utilise your clinical skills and experience by providing clinical pharmacyservices to wards and other areas, assisting with the training and development ofothers and supporting the improvement of the services.

You will work closely withthe multidisciplinary team and will help maintain the high standard of services thatare already provided. Independent Prescribing is integral to our pharmacist's roles.

In these posts you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge andspecialist skills within one of the following Clinical Management Groups:

Emergency and Specialist Medicine

Acute Medicine, Neurology, Stroke, Geriatrics, Diabetes, Endocrinology,Infectious Diseases, Rheumatology and Dermatology.

Urology, Gastroenterology and GI/Musculoskeletal/Specialist Surgery

Gastroenterology

Trauma, Orthopaedics and Ortho-geriatrics

Colorectal, GI and Specialist surgery (inc bariatrics, ENT, burns, plastics,max fax, head and neck surgery, urology and hepato-pancreato-biliaryservices and ophthalmology)

Post holder will be expected to contribute towards evening, on-call, bank holiday andweekend rotas.
