BASE: Your primary base will be cross site; however travelbetween UHL's hospital sites will be required

HOURS: 37.5

REPORTS TO: Principal Pharmacy Technician Professional Development

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Chief Pharmacist

Main duties of the job

Come, join our team and train to become a registered professional Pharmacy Technician. The role is rapidly changing and they are vital members of today's healthcare team and contribute greatly in the supply of medicines to patients. Career opportunities following qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (the regulatory body for Pharmacy) include medicines management roles, aseptic preparation, staff training, clinical trials, procurement, and many more. You will have the opportunity for a fabulous career with salaries ranging from £23,949 on qualifying to £54,619 as your career progresses.

You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills to your full potential whilst working towards a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians.

Minimum entry requirements are 5 GCSE's at grade 4 or above or equivalent and must include Maths, English and Science (if you are awaiting results - please include predicted grades)

Salary is as per government guidelines minimum wage based on your age.
