Education and Qualifications

Essential

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC or will be eligible and planning to register with GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician in the near future.

Desirable

  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Experience of having worked in a community pharmacy or a hospital pharmacy in a dispensary setting.
  • Training others.
  • Basic knowledge on medicines.
  • Understanding of clinical governance and ability to ensure patient safety.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in outpatient pharmacy.
  • Experience of counselling patients on their medicines.
  • Supervision of the pharmacy team.
