Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 named nurse to work withpatients undergoing renal replacement therapy at home.
Previous experience in renal/haemodialysis is desirable but not essential, as full in-house training and support will be given. The team you will be joining is dedicated to training of both staff and patients.

Undertaking adequacy tests/training/refreshers to ensure patient safety at home undertaking their treatment
Main duties of the job
Main duties involved are of training patients on both Peritoneal dialysis (CAPD & APD) and haemodialyis (Nx Stage machine/5008s), ensuring a high standard of care is maintained throughout
Undertake the named nurse
Carrying out Adequacy tests including PET/UKM's for Peritoneal dialysis patient
Working as part of a team within the wider multi-disciplinary team
Under take home visits regularly and being a car driver is essential
