Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate with a strong work ethic to join the Renal Research Team.
This post requires the candidate to have certification in venepuncture. Experience in a patient facing role, further clinical skills and laboratory skills are also an advantage. The candidate must be familiar with Microsoft applications and working with large amounts of information on databases.
The post holder will be expected to work under the support and guidance of the multidisciplinary research team.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be able to use a range of Microsoft Office applications, demonstrate competency in clinical skills and have the ability to manage their own time. Organisational skills and the ability to work both on your own and as part of a team are essential.
The post holder must have significant experience in venepuncture . Further clinical skills and a knowledge, understanding and experience of the clinical research process, including ICH-GCP and research governance are an advantage. The post requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Some early morning working and evening work may be required.
The post will involve liaison with all grades of staff in a multi-disciplinary department; therefore the ability to communicate clearly, calmly and effectively with a broad range of people is important.
The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain constructive working relationship with the multi-professional teams within the specialty. They will also ensure good communication between all service providers and actively participate in local and national networking groups to develop their knowledge in the specialty.

CRPs bring a wealth of research knowledge and expertise to research delivery teams, working alongside nurses and others to deliversafe, ethical and high quality clinical research care.
