The successful applicant will have substantial clinical experience and knowledge of diabetes along with other associated long-term conditions. Experience in teaching and education and facilitation would be advantageous.
EDEN (Effective Diabetes Education Now) has grown rapidly over 12 years, and is commissioned locally, nationally, and internationally by organisations wishing to transform diabetes care for their patients. EDEN is an NHS organisation which is part of the Leicester Diabetes Centre, University of Leicester, and University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust.
Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking team. The successful applicant will provide clinical knowledge and expertise as a resource for development, and be involved in reviewing, developing, and delivering of existing and new training programmes. There is opportunity to work alongside leading clinical and research experts to shape and tailor innovative new projects and transform diabetes care and service.
